The Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) basketball felled the visiting Ralls Jackrabbits (Ralls, TX), 49-36 in Friday's league test.

The Owls (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Olton (Olton, TX). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region I District 4 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Olton thwarted Smyer (Smyer, TX), 54-32, in a league test.

The Jackrabbits now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Sudan for a 2A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, December 20. Ralls will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 86-47 league win over Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-7.
