Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Heart Butte Warriors (Heart Butte, MT) and the visiting Valier Panthers (Valier, MT), saw Heart Butte's basketball squad wallop Valier by a count of 53-20.

With the victory, Heart Butte upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Augusta (Augusta, MT) to play the Elks in a C District 10 challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Augusta lost 70-67 in their recent league challenge against Cascade (Cascade, MT)

Next up, the Panthers play the Centerville Miners (Sand Coulee, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Valier will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
