Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 50-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilson Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The host Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Oak Forest won 60-25 in their recent non-league bout against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Hilltop Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Cougar go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 25-11 non-league win over Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC).
