The West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Humble Wildcats (Humble, TX), 61-27 in Friday's league test.
The Bruins (19-2) will now prepare for their test against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 21 test with a 15-6 record.
The Wildcats now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Humble will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 47-36 non-league loss to Westside (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-13.
