The Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) basketball felled the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 54-36 in Friday's league test.

The Steelmen (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Bradley-Bourbonnais was beaten by Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 43-29, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Yorkville for a non-league test on Thursday, December 22. Plainfield Central will encounter a Foxes squad coming off a 56-25 league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 8-4.
