Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), saw Kettle Run's basketball squad wallop Liberty by a tally of 64-28.

With the victory, Kettle Run improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Sherando (Stephens City, VA) to confront the Warriors in a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Sherando won 87-30 in their recent league challenge against Skyline (Front Royal, VA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Monday, December 19. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 61-40 non-league loss to Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV).
