The Manatee Hurricanes basketball team (Bradenton, FL), was overwhelmed 47-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Southeast Seminoles (Bradenton, FL)
The Seminoles now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canterbury for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Southeast will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Sarasota Christian (Sarasota, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-3.
The Hurricanes (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bayshore (Bradenton, FL). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Bayshore was overwhelmed by Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL), 59-31, in a non-league battle.
