T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), 39-28 in a league bout.

With the win, T.W. Andrews upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Red Raiders host Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Southwest Guilford won 54-39 in their recent league bout against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. McMichael will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 61-12 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).
