The Winfield Vikings basketball team (Winfield, KS), was overwhelmed 54-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS)
The Bullpups now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. McPherson will confront a Thunder team coming off a 77-60 non-league loss to Aquinas (Overland Park, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 2-1.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wellington (Wellington, KS). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Wellington trounced El Dorado (El Dorado, KS), 70-18, in a non-league battle.
