Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Highland (Ewing, MO) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bloodhounds go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 45-44 non-league loss to Centralia (Centralia, MO).
