Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Noble Knights (Berwick, ME), 74-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Thornton Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to play the Scots in a AA South bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Bonny Eagle won 45-32 in their recent non-league bout against Portland (Portland, ME)

Next up, the Knights play the Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) in a AA South bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 52-45 league loss to South Portland (South Portland, ME).
