West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parsippany Hills Vikings (Parsippany, NJ), 49-35 in a league bout.

With the win, West Morris Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a Northwest Jersey - National bout on Monday, December 19. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 0-1. West Morris Mendham lost 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ)

Next up, the Vikings play the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Parsippany Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
