The Wakefield Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Stanton Mustangs to 30 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17.

The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pender (Pender, NE). The Pendragons enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Pender was routed by North Bend Central (North Bend, NE), 44-36, in a non-league contest.
