The Takini Skyhawks basketball team (Howes, SD), was overwhelmed 59-26 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD)
The Sioux now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santee for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Wakpala will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-17 non-league win over Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.
The Skyhawks (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Crazy Horse was overwhelmed by Santee (Santee, NE), 68-17, in a non-league battle.
