The Wylie Pirates basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Wylie East Raiders to 53 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Naaman Forest for a 6A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Wylie will battle a Rangers team coming off a 52-32 league win over South Garland (Garland, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 1-11.

The Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders enter the 6A Region II District 9 contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, North Garland was nudged by Rowlett (Rowlett, TX), 65-19, in a league contest.
