Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Buckingham upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Statesmen clash with the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Randolph-Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
