The Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA) basketball nipped the host Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA), 40-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chargers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Courtland was tipped by James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA), 32-10, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Orange County for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Spotsylvania will encounter a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 42-17 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 5-1.
