North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory Ridge can't hold off West Cabarrus

The West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls to 36 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Iredell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. West Cabarrus will battle a Vikings team coming off a 37-30 non-league win over Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-3.

The Ragin' Bulls (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
