The Woodrow Wilson Bruins basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits to 30 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a contest on Monday, December 19. Woodrow Wilson will battle a Lancers team coming off a 51-21 non-league win over La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-1.

The Jackrabbits (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against West (Torrance, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, West nudged South (Torrance, CA), 47-41, in a league contest.
