The Southwest Onslow Stallions basketball team (Jacksonville, NC), was nudged 28-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC)
The Blue Devils now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. South Lenoir will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 33-10 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Stallions (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, North Lenoir was nudged by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 23-22, in a league battle.
