The Southern Wayne Saints basketball team (Dudley, NC), dropped 38-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC)
The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wake for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. West Johnston will battle a Warriors team coming off a 29-15 non-league win over Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-5.
The Saints (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Hunt dropped by C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 34-16, in a non-league battle.
