In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 60-48 triumph over the Highland Tech Rams.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Burns will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Ironmen enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).
With the defeat, Highland Tech moves to 3-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC) to play the Gryphons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Thomas Jefferson won 61-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
