The Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball nipped the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 56-53 in Friday's league test.
The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Harding University Berry (Charlotte, NC), 38-38, in a non-league test.
The Stallions now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cabarrus Charter for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Queen's Grant will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 96-4 non-league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
