In Friday's non-league outing, the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), by a count of 56-40.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Millbrook defeated Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 55-53, in a non-league outing.
