North Carolina High School Basketball - Kings Mountain fells Huss

December 16, 2022: Kings Mountain, NC 28086

Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 50-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kings Mountain upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-5. North Gaston lost 60-25 in their recent league bout against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Huskies play the Northside Christian Academy Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Huss will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 74-12 non-league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC).
