Temecula Valley Golden Bears (Temecula, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Murrieta Mesa Rams (Murrieta, CA), 73-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Temecula Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Vista Murrieta won 68-41 in their recent non-league bout against Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA)

Next up, the Rams play the Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Murrieta Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
