The Statesville Greyhounds basketball team (Statesville, NC), was toppled 49-39 in Friday's league battle with the host North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC)
The Knights now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Iredell for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3.
The Greyhounds (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs come into the battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, East Lincoln beat Hickory (Hickory, NC), 44-39, in a league battle.
