Vanoss Wolves (Ada, OK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Asher Indians (Asher, OK), 52-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Vanoss upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Asher (Asher, OK) to play the Indians in a Pontotoc bout on Friday, January 12. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Indians play the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Asher will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Whippets come into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 80-31 league win over Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK).
