The Austin Black Bears basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting McAdory Yellowjackets to 53 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Saturday.

The Black Bears now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramsay for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19.

The Yellowjackets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Itawamba Agricultural was defeated by Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 72-44, in a non-league contest.
