Dover Senators (Dover, DE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE), 67-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Dover upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Senators travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to play the Vikings in a Henlopen - Northern bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Cape Henlopen won 48-47 in their recent league bout against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE)

Next up, the Riders play the Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Caesar Rodney will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 49-40 non-league win over Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE).
