Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central knocked off by Chestnut Ridge

The Chestnut Ridge Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Central Dragons to 41 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richland for a Laurel Highlands contest on Monday, December 18. Chestnut Ridge will battle a Rams team coming off a 57-47 league win over Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.

The Dragons (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA). The Raiders enter the Laurel Highlands contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Bellefonte was defeated by Tyrone (Tyrone, PA), 62-52, in a league contest.
