Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) and the visiting Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), saw Long County's basketball squad wallop Claxton by a count of 68-40.

With the victory, Long County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Blue Tide travel to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Tattnall County lost 58-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Claxton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
