With the victory, Cove improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Ione/Arlington lost 48-35 in their recent league challenge against Sherman (Moro, OR)

Next up, the Huskies play the Wallowa Cougars (Wallowa, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR).
