The Danbury Hatters basketball team (Danbury, CT), was overwhelmed 79-55 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT)
The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westhill for a Fairfield County battle on Friday, December 22. Ridgefield will confront a Vikings team coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
The Hatters (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Middie Bears come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Middletown was overwhelmed by Kingston (Kingston, NY), 64-47, in a league battle.
