The Westfield School Hornets basketball team (Perry, GA), was overwhelmed 51-22 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA)

The Knights now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest Georgia Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Deerfield-Windsor will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.

The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Academy was overwhelmed by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 75-39, in a non-league battle.
