With the victory, Dove Creek improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Nucla (Nucla, CO) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A/1A San Juan Basin challenge on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Buckaroo confront the San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Monticello will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 73-64 non-league loss to American Heritage (American Fork, UT).
