The St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 52-49 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Hermits (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Ocean City got by Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ), 73-28, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Middle Township for a Cape/Atlantic - United test on Monday, December 18. Egg Harbor Township will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 64-56 non-league win over Lenape (Medford, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
