Illinois High School Basketball - Galena knocked off by Pecatonica

The Pecatonica Indians basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Galena Pirates to 63 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Beloit for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Pecatonica will meet a Sobos team coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Galena (Galena, IL). The Sobos record now stands at 9-2.

The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Amboy (Amboy, IL). The Clippers enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Amboy was outscored by South Beloit (South Beloit, IL), 62-28, in a non-league contest.
