Colorado High School Basketball - Holyoke tipped by Merino

The Merino Rams basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Holyoke Dragons to 53 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rams now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wray for a 3A/2A Lower Platte contest on Friday, January 5. Merino will meet a Eagles team coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

The Dragons (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Caliche (Iliff, CO). The Buffaloes enter the 3A/2A Lower Platte contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Caliche nudged Potter-Dix (Potter, NE), 40-35, in a non-league contest.
