In Saturday's non-league outing, the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), by a margin of 50-45.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Appling County was tipped by Bacon County (Alma, GA), 59-33, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hawkinsville for a non-league outing on Friday, December 22.
