The Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) basketball nipped the host Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS), 63-58 in Saturday's league test.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Neshoba Central held off Madison Central (Madison, MS), 88-87, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Kemper County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 65-61 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, MS).
