Illinois High School Basketball - Kewanee nips Riverdale

Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kewanee upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Boilermakers travel to Stark County (Toulon, IL) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Rams play the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
