The Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) basketball felled the host West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ), 43-31 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lancers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Science Park (Newark, NJ). The Chargers go into the Super Essex - Independence test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Science Park thwarted Weequahic (Newark, NJ), 55-44, in a non-league test.

The Mountaineers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Caldwell Tech for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. West Orange will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
