The Locust Grove Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Stockbridge Tigers to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Persons for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 19. Locust Grove will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, Stockbridge moves to 2-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Heritage (Conyers, GA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 19. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 4-6. Heritage lost 78-66 in their recent league match against Loganville (Loganville, GA)
