Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN), 70-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Loogootee upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Scottsburg won 74-51 in their recent non-league bout against Columbus East (Columbus, IN)
Next up, the Blackhawks play the South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Springs Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 68-56 non-league loss to Evansville Central (Evansville, IN).
