Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sharon Academy Phoenix (Sharon, VT), 60-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mill River upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Minutemen host Proctor (Proctor, VT) to clash with the Phantoms in a Southern Vermont - D bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Phantoms go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Proctor lost 63-30 in their recent non-league bout against Danville (Danville, VT)

Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Long Trail (Dorset, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D bout, on Thursday, December 21. Sharon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
