Republic Tigers (Republic, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oroville Hornets (Oroville, WA), 63-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Republic upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pateros (Pateros, WA) to play the Billygoats/Nannies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Billygoats/Nannies come into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Hornets play the Cascade Christian Academy (Wenatchee, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Oroville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 82-33 league loss to Riverside Christian (Yakima, WA).
