The South Brunswick Vikings basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Piscataway Chiefs to 30 in the Vikings league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. South Brunswick will battle a Trojans team coming off a 78-53 non-league win over J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.

The Chiefs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ). The Knights enter the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Old Bridge nudged Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ), 51-44, in a league contest.
