The Sandia Matadors topped the host Roswell Coyotes basketball team by a final score of 70-62 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 21. Sandia will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 84-81 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).

The Coyotes now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Alamogordo for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 19. Roswell will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-34 non-league win over Deming (Deming, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
