    The Upson-Lee Knights basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Spalding Jaguars to 47 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

    The Knights now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Upson-Lee will meet a Seminoles team coming off a 71-58 league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 4-3.

    The Jaguars (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Talbotton, GA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Central nipped Schley County (Ellaville, GA), 74-65, in a league bout.
